Wines with no sulphites

When in 13 : buy these no-SO2 French wines

Herebelow are French wines that I recommend and where to buy them in Marseille, France.

The below vintners often use no sulphur dioxide (SO2) during the winemaking or the bottling. Only a few bottles may contain sulfites -- in very small quantities. (Around 10 mg per liter. Ask the merchant or the importer.)

2005 - 9 € - red fruit jelly dominates the nose - onctuous, red fruit jelly, the wine is not drying the palate

 Vin de table - Le Mazel - Pétillant rosé - Carignan

[2004] - 4.5 € - not much showing on the nose - pink grapefruit, few mid-sized bubbles, very sweet, fresh, a note of brewer's yeast (slightly acidic and bitter)

 Vin de pays de l'Ardèche - Le Mazel - Briand - (grenache)

2001 - 8.5 € - intensity of flavour, red fruit (blackcurrent, blackberry), roastbeef - intensity of flavour, red fruit (blackberry), onctuous from entry to exit, no smoked note, balanced acidity.
Note: some bottles may show a fizzy whisper or an acrid (acetic) hint -- serious airing (with a decanter or by waiting 24 hours) should dissolve these drawbacks.

 Vin de pays de l'Ardèche - Le Mazel - Cuvée C'est Im-Portant

2002 - 6.2 € - served cool (maybe at 14°C), do not decant - formidable on the nose, fruit jelly, blackberry or blackcurrant sorbet, crushed blackberry, a note of smokiness, cherry, ligneous - juicy, cherry, a plant note, dry, fresh like a fruit juice (with a hint of grapefruit) - the wine lingers with blackcurrant and strawberry
